June Tasting Notes

Here are some fun picks to celebrate the onset of summer this month. We added a touch of pink with June 12th being National Rosé Day which also happens to coincide with World Gin Day this year. We certainly cannot forget all the wonderful Dads out there who I am sure would enjoy a dram at the end of the day. JAK’S is holding its bi-annual Whisky Sale running from June 10th to the 21st and there are some amazing deals to be had for Dad!

Hardy’s Stamp Series Riesling/Gewurztraminer

This predominantly Riesling adds a touch of 30% Gewurztraminer which makes for a very aromatic wine indeed. Aromas of ripe apple, juicy peach, floral tones and a hint of ginger entice.
