JAK's Kitsilano Summer Social — June 20th on 4th Avenue

Summer officially has a start date in Kitsilano — and we'd love for you to be there.

On Saturday, June 20th, JAK's Kitsilano is throwing a Summer Social at our 4th Avenue store to celebrate the community that has given us such a warm welcome since we opened last fall. Think of it as our way of saying thank you — with local tastings, live music, popsicles, and a few surprises along the way.

Here's what to expect:

Meet the makers

Throughout the day, we'll be featuring tastings from some of our favourite BC wine, craft beer, and spirit producers. Come try something new, hear the stories behind the labels, and meet the people who make them.

Live music in the courtyard.

A string quartet will be performing from 11am–1pm. Summer, sunshine, and a glass of something local — that's the vibe.

Johnny's Pops.

Real fruit popsicles from one of Vancouver's most beloved local makers, served from 11am–12:30pm. Promised to be the best popsicle you've ever had. We're not arguing.

Gifts for early arrivals.

The first 25 guests will receive a $25 JAK's gift card, and the first 50 guests will go home with a complimentary summer swag bag.

And we're giving back.

JAK's Kits is proud to partner with Music Heals for the Summer Social — 10% of all sales on June 20th will be donated to support their music therapy programming right here in the community.
